These terms govern the use of Punta Stays, a site that directly connects guests with owners of stays in Punta del Este. By using the site to search for, book, or list a property, you agree to these terms.
About the service
Punta Stays is an intermediary platform: we publish stays listed by their own owners and let anyone search for and book them directly, with no middlemen.
Bookings and payments
Every booking is subject to the stay's actual availability at the time it's confirmed. Payment is processed through whichever methods the owner has enabled: automatic via Mercado Pago, or manual (bank transfer or another method).
Cancellations and changes
Cancellation and date-change conditions are the ones shown to you when you book. If you have questions about a specific booking, contact us or the property owner directly.
Owner responsibilities
If you list a property, you're responsible for the information, photos, and availability you enter being accurate, and for honoring the bookings confirmed on your stay.
Guest responsibilities
As a guest, you're responsible for making appropriate use of the stay during your visit and for following the conditions communicated to you by the owner.
Punta Stays' role
Punta Stays doesn't own or operate the listed stays — it's a meeting point between people looking for a stay and people offering one. The contract for the stay itself is between the guest and the owner.
Accounts
Access to the owner or admin panel is through your Google account. You're responsible for keeping it secure and for any activity that happens through it.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.
Changes to these terms
If we make a significant change to these terms, we'll let you know by updating the date at the top of this page.
